United StatesIn an effort to educate the public about the criminal justice system, community radio stations, prisoner family groups, and artists are working with Holler to bring the voices of prisoners’ family members to the airwaves on stations across the country.
Calls From Home will be recorded on December 12, 2005 from 7-11pm. That night we will open up the toll free line (xxx-xxx-xxxx) to take hundreds of calls from family members and loved ones from across the country sending messages of hope and love to their incarerated loved ones. In past years folks have sung, read poetry, or reached out to their loved one for the first time in many years.Geographical Scope: National Other |
