Description

The purpose of this summit is to build a coalition of Northeast student environmental groups that can take on national issues that each school or existing network on its own could not address. We see a particular need right now for such an organized student movement to respond to the Bush Administration?s efforts to rollback decades of environmental policy. This is intended to be a relatively informal gathering with only 2-3 of the most active student leaders representing each school. We hope this format will encourage as much inter-school conversation and networking as possible.
