African People's Solidarity Day:
> U.S.-wide educational and fundraising events exposing the truth that the prosperity, democracy and power of America and Europe are built on the enslavement, oppression and poverty of African people and the theft of Africa's resources.
> Recognizes that the solution to the contradictions of "race" in the U.S. are found in the fact that there are two realities in this country--the affluence and democracy of the white lifestyle which comes at the expense of the enslavement, oppression and poverty of African people. African people in the U.S. are a colonized population.
> Supports the growing demand for reparations to African people based on 400 years of slavery and genocide.
> Upholds the reality that all black people everywhere are African people, and that Africa and all its resources belong to African people worldwide.
> African People's Solidarity Day is a fundraiser for African political and economic development projects led by the Uhuru Movement in the U.S., in Africa and around the world.
