Across the country youth and students are standing up and fighting back for their planet and their communities. This gathering seeks to empower grassroots organizersby supplying the tools to create lasting social change. We need to equip ourselves with the gear to dismantle systems of oppression and construct a world rooted in justice.
The Agenda:
Workshops will focus on skills for creating change and campaigns that you can run on your campus.
There will also be trainings focusing on how we can combat racism, sexism, heterosexism, and classism.
Finally, there'll be lots of time for building connections with other activists from around the Northeast, making new friends, sharing experiences, and strategizing about how we can build a strong regional network that can effect lasting change.
