812-339-8710Grassroots Educational Training (GET UP!) is holding its second weekend long conference November 8th and 9th, concentrating on the skills of organizing for progressive social change. The purpose of GET UP! is to help share the immense amount of knowledge about grassroots organizing that exists in all of our communities, introduce individuals with less experience with grassroots organizing to many of the different aspects and skills involved, and help groups and individuals network.
The weekend will include about twenty-eight workshops on topics such as consensus, fundraising, power-mapping, research, and more intensive courses for those with more organizing experience or those that attended the first conference.
