This year's symposium will bring together students from around the country for an introduction to the historical and future implications of biology and security by prominent experts in the field.
The symposium will feature leadership sessions and team-building activities, as well as lectures, panels and group discussions on important topics in biology and security, including:
-Prevention of Bioterrorist Attacks
-Public Health Preparedness
-History and Science of Biological Weapons
-International Cooperation
-Balancing Scientific Openness and National Security in Biological Research
