WEEKEND HIGHLIGHTS
8pm Friday "Environmental Racism: Hip Hop and Spoken Word"
Some environmental policies and practices differentially affect or
disadvantage communities of low-income and people of color. Grab a
blanket and come hear the beat of local artists who address this issue and kick off Berea's annual EarthRoots festival.
Saturday Morning Workshops and Afternoon Eco Fair in the Park *Tables available, let us know if you want one for sharing information or vending
Critical Mass - You can borrow a community bike for the ride
Dinner and Presentation by the Bee Hive Collective
Open Mic "Feminism and The Environment" featuring the Afro Latin Percussion Ensemble.

LOGISTICS
Friday Evening Registration and Dinner at Union Church. Group Housing provided. Please bring your own bedding and camping gear for Saturday Night.
The church will be your home base for the weekend with events around
campus.
DIRECTIONS: Berea is located 42 miles south of Lexington, Ky., just off
Interstate 75. The driving time from Louisville, Ky., Knoxville, Tenn., or Cincinnati, Ohio is slightly more than two hours. Check out attachment
for more detailed directions.
WHAT TO BRING - your friends, a dish and a cup, drums and instruments,
camping gear, food - if you can score some free food let us know,
otherwise don't worry- creativity, and your ideas.
We are asking for DONATIONS on a sliding scale to help cover the costs of the conference. Please give what you can when you check in on Friday.
