314-712-0603The United Activist Network in conjunction with the Student Sierra Coalition will host a grassroots organizing conference at MU on April 15th-17th. The conference is student organized and student run, with workshops and presentations from fellow student activists. This is an opportunity for the social justice community at MU and around the state to come together, share grassroots organizing skills, and build a network for effective, progressive activism. Two days of workshops will be conducted on topics ranging from fundraising and media relations to non-hierarchical decision making and effective campaign strategy. The conference is free and open to anyone. Housing will be provided for anyone who needs it. Geographical Scope: State Conference |
